I like the W&B - and the canon Snape !
I am waiting excited the final version of your work! So far it looks very promising. I like the Severus' face. It is contemptuous and feel like he doesn't mind anything. Hmm, that was damn unclearly explained.
But thank you for saying this looks canon. That is allways my deepest endeavor. Bind the canon and my own vision together.
I haven't read other author's fics about the same theme, sadly.
And your second comment:
Then you have just the same problem as I. It doesn't matter how much I draw, Snape becomes never 100% Snape. :s And usually when I draw, the face start to flow in some shape and then some Snapes' features of my vision just doesn't fit in and I am forced to draw a different face than I have in my mind. So even I had 100% real vision of Snape, I cannot draw it becouse all the features of perfect Snape doesn't fit together.
I agree. She is very intresting especially in DH, but also in former books, where you can see weird pieces of hate and respect between Snape and Minerva. I mean those scenes, when they are arguin something with for ex. Albus and Fudge.
I was also in fire when I read that corridor scene in DH. (Btw. I was "working" then - boss liked.) That was so full of bitterness and anger and only Snape knew that was needless. Just that feeling has inspirated me very much by writing and drawing. I quess you too?
About the whole book-serie; first I was a bit dissapointed when I realised Snape isn't bad, as I had thought when I started to like him in first book. Then in HBP I almost jumped smiling around the room when I thought he is bad after all. And again in DH I dissapointed. But after reading all books, I can just say Snape is perfect when he isn't good or bad. It gives very inspirating atmosphere to try to reveal his character. Damn, he was brave. - Or should I rather say he has a great self-discipline..
Honestly, Minerva really interested me in these scenes in DH. She's really GOOD. Such a brave and loyal woman - I liked it. When I read the scene of the corridor, I was in awe. You know, as a Snape-maniac, I was very thrilled by his appearance of course, but I was also interested in Minerva's behavior. When Snape turns his back and doesn't fight the 3 Heads of Houses and she calls him coward....mmmh, she's great (I thought : she's great and stupid. She should have knew better about Severus - that if he's not fighting, there is a reason for it. In his vision of him, she's such a Gryffindor again - believing only in the instant without afterthought). Yes, I definitely liked her. I can imagine how she felt guilty, when learnt about Snape finally ...
Well, about Snape...the more I think about it, and the more I like him in DH, and all what's untold and under the lines in this book. What a fate in this last year ...yes, definitely for me he just didn't mind anything anymore. I think - only to find that damned Potter and die (For me, that's all what mattered to him : find Potter and achieve his mission.
I'm glad you're interested in their relationships. I agree with you - they are something. Tell me about your fic, when it'll be finished, then.
